Lacework is a handcraft and, as such, requires patience and attentiveness - values that are at most of secondary importance in the world nowadays. At the same time it is a simple and a complex product. The ornamental repetitiveness of motifs, the naming of elements, the function are all within the domain of manifestation. But what is hidden in the unconsciousness of lacework?
